free vs Beta content vs finished paid packs

This is a new app, that I'm going to keep building on over time

I want people to be able to enjoy some free animations, but I also want to earn a bit from this app to fund more creativity. We'll have a beta program that lets you get extra animations that are almost done, and any early versions of future animations we add too.

Assuming this all works to plan, this launches with five finished tabs worth of fun interactive animations for free, and soon after launch it'll be possible to join the beta program for a small cost - cheaper than paying for each of those animations when finished.

Tabs that are included in the app for free are marked like this

Tabs that will have Beta content are marked like this. If you're not yet in the beta, those tabs will just show teasers

    Dice!

    You've not got this tab!

to get this tab you must join the 2026 Beta, or wait for it to be fully released in a paid for add on

This beta tab will have various different dice that you can click on to roll

So far, I have got working:

    • Custom range dice
"Wild Side" dice (add as many lines of your own text to make a completely custom dice!)
      Polyhedral Dice
  • coming soon to beta: pipped dice (dice with dots - currently all dice use numbers or text)

    Sciencey Lines!

    You've not got this tab!

to get this tab you must join the 2026 Beta, or wait for it to be fully released in a paid for add on

Once you get this tab, you'll have animations inspired by science including:

    • A sine wave (you control the Amplitude and Frequency)
Energy Arc - like raw energy arcing through a void
Coiling line - just a line coiling inwards and sometimes uncoiling
A mesmerising spiral. Does it turn anti-clockwise or clockwise?

This Beta tab will have animations showing various interesting geometric shapes being drawn in

This Beta tab will have an interactive piece that could be considered a minigame. You move a collection of letters around, catching other letters to string together a sentence

This Beta tab will have vibrant recreations of some classic games playing themselves

    Games playing themselves so far

    • Smells like Tennis (or possibly "Tennis Forever")
      Snakey Snake
      Asteroid Dodger
  • I'm considering putting the name of the tennis game to a vote, watch this space!
